Peacefully, with family and friends by his side, at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, on Thursday, June 4th 2026, Roderick Spence, known as Roddy or Rod, aged 65 years. A loving father of Iain and Sarah, a doting granda of Theo and Ava, a much-loved brother of Iain, Ralph, Anne and Susie, special father-in-law of Blair, and a good friend to many.
A funeral service and celebration of Roddyβs life will take place at Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, on Friday, June 19th 2026, at 3.30pm, to which all family and friends are warmly invited. Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu, if so desired, will be gratefully received at the crematorium in Roddyβs name for Maggieβs Centre, Dundee.
