Peacefully, at Arbroath Infirmary, on Wednesday, October 28th 2026, Allan Martin, beloved husband of Patty, much-loved father to Jill and Lisa, proud grandad to Isla and Zara, dear father-in-law to Craig, cherished son of the late Dave and Anne, and a much-loved brother and uncle.

A familiar and respected face in Arbroath, Allan spent his working life caring for local families through his career as a funeral director in the town. Over the years, he supported many people through some of life's most difficult moments, becoming a well-known figure within the community he served.

Allan will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and the many people who came to know him throughout his life.

Peacefully, at Arbroath Infirmary, on Saturday, October 24th 2026, Angus Smith, aged 94 years, a much-loved husband to the late Christine, devoted father to Lindsay and proud grandfather to Colin. Angus was also a dear brother to the late Sheila.

A familiar face in Arbroath, Angus was a self-employed mechanic and founder of the Arbroath Motor Company. His working life was spent doing what he knew best, and outside the garage, he enjoyed his lifelong interests in football and motorbikes.

Angus will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and all who knew him throughout his long life.

In accordance with Angus's wishes, his funeral service will take place privately.

Peacefully, with her family, at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, on Tuesday 20th October 2026, Doreen, aged 78years.

A much-loved mum to Jaqueline, and Paul, a supportive mother in-law to Stewart and Nikki, a devoted gran to Caitlin, Jordyn, Jazmin and Jaymai-Leigh, a doting great-gran to Scarlett and Maeva, and a dear friend to many.

A private funeral service will take place, in accordance with Doreen's wishes. Details of a wake to follow.

𝑷𝑨𝑻𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑺𝑶𝑵, 𝑨𝒓𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒕𝒉

Peacefully but suddenly at home with family by her side, on Wednesday, October 14th 2026, Grace, aged 80 years. A loving wife to the late Ron, a devoted mum to Garry, Ronald, and the late Susan, an adored gran to Lisa, Alesha and Cameron, a doting Great Gran to Keivah, Livia and Rae and a great friend to many.

Grace was a well-known and much-loved member of the Arbroath community, initially opening a confectionist and toy shop, then florist, bridal and stationary shops and laterly running a B&B . She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In accordance with Grace’s wishes, the service will be held privately.

Very peacefully, with her family, at Monkbarns Care Home, Arbroath, on Monday 12th October 2026, Jemima (Mina), aged 96 years.

Beloved wife of the late Frank, a much-loved mum to Liz, Tam, the late Helen, David, Fran and Frank, a doting gran and great-gran, and a dear friend to many.

A private family funeral service will take place, in accordance with Mina's wishes. The family are forever grateful to the Scotia care team, who cared so well for Mina over the years.
