We will confirm exactly what is needed for your venue and cemetery, and explain any third party or council charges.
In most cases, burial costs include two parts
- Parkgrove professional fees for care, arranging, staff and vehicles
- Angus Council cemetery fees for interment and, where needed, lair purchase and permits
If you are unsure whether a lair is already owned, we can help you check this during arrangement.
Council fees (Angus Council)
These charges are set by Angus Council and are additional to our professional fees. We will confirm exactly which apply.

- Perpetuity or upkeep (coffin lair): £412.90
- Lair certificate or transfer (per lair): £70.80

- Cremated remains interment (resident): from £285.00 (depth dependent)
Non resident charges do not apply when the deceased lived most of their life in Angus, or moved out for care or medical reasons in their final five years.
