It is with great sadness we share the passing of John Syme, of Mill of Inverarity Farm. John passed away peacefully, in the excellent care of Storyville House, Kirriemuir, on Monday 25th August, 2025, aged 82.
He was the beloved husband of the late Louise Watson, and in later years, loving husband of Maureen. A devoted dad to Alison, father-in-law to Robert, proud papa to Vicky, Rory and Tom, and a much-loved great papa to Sophie and Freddie.
A funeral and celebration of John’s life will be held at Parkgrove Crematorium, on Thursday, 4th September, at 3.30 p.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Following the service, you are warmly invited to join the family for refreshments at Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort.
John will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
