The Parkgrove Stadium at Station Park
Parkgrove News | Community Partnership
Parkgrove has strengthened its partnership with Forfar Athletic Football Club through a new ground naming agreement. The club’s home will now be known as The Parkgrove Stadium at Station Park.
The agreement represents the next stage of a relationship between Parkgrove and Forfar Athletic that began in March 2025.
Parkgrove initially supported the club through a substantial contribution to its Fighting Fund, with the funding directed towards player recruitment and strengthening the playing squad. The partnership also introduced prominent Parkgrove signage around Station Park.
Following the success of that relationship, Forfar Athletic announced on June 29th 2026 that Parkgrove had entered into a ground naming sponsorship agreement with the club.
Building on an established partnership
Parkgrove’s original involvement with Forfar Athletic was intended to provide practical support to the club rather than simply placing a name beside the pitch.
The contribution to the Fighting Fund helped support player recruitment, while the advertising partnership introduced Parkgrove to supporters from Forfar and across the wider Angus area.
The new agreement builds on that foundation and creates a more prominent long term association between Parkgrove and the football club.
“We have supported Forfar Athletic since last year and are pleased to take that relationship a step further. The club is an important part of Forfar and the wider Angus community. Keeping Station Park in the name mattered to us, and we are proud that the ground will now be known as The Parkgrove Stadium at Station Park.”
Chris Simpson, Funeral Director
Respecting the Station Park name
Station Park has been home to Forfar Athletic for generations and remains an important part of the club’s history and identity.
Parkgrove felt it was important that the traditional name remained clearly recognised within the new agreement. The Parkgrove Stadium at Station Park brings both names together while respecting the connection supporters have with the ground.
The new name took effect immediately following the announcement and is already being used throughout the club’s match information, fixture announcements and communications.
Supporting organisations within Angus
Parkgrove works with families throughout Forfar and across Angus. Supporting local organisations is an important part of maintaining a strong connection with the communities we serve.
Football clubs provide much more than activity on the pitch. They bring together supporters, families, volunteers, players, staff and local businesses. They also create a strong sense of place and shared identity within their town.
Through this extended partnership, Parkgrove is helping support the future of Forfar Athletic while increasing awareness of the complete funeral service available from our location near Friockheim.
Looking ahead
We would like to thank the directors of Forfar Athletic for the confidence they have placed in Parkgrove and for the opportunity to extend our involvement with the club.
We look forward to continuing the partnership and supporting the Loons throughout the seasons ahead.
